BCA SUPPORTS GHANAIAN TEACHER HASSAN VAMPERE HASEHNI
Twenty-six year old Ghanaian teacher Hassan Vampere Hasehni applied to the BCA for financial assistance to enable him to enroll in a two year Masters program in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Hassan held an unconditional offer of admission but as the son of smallholder farmers his dream looked impossible to achieve. He told BCA of his desire to be an advocate for the rights and equalization of opportunities for the vulnerable in Ghana and Africa, especially the disabled, his experience during his undergraduate study.
The BCA was happy to support Hassan, who said:
‘I would like to say the biggest possible thank you to the BCA for this wonderful support. A few weeks ago I could not have imagined that I would be starting my MSc in August. I pledge that the BCA will never regret supporting me as I will try my utmost for this support to yield the right results. This is an important step for me. Thank you very much. God Bless You’
